This targeted bilingual “Carne Asada” promotion will help retailers stimulate beef sales around two of the top grilling holidays – Memorial Day and Independence Day – in key Hispanic markets: CA, CO, FL, IL, NY and TX.
Program Elements:
• Bilingual pocket guides with beef recipes, coupons and rebates
• Bilingual point-of-sale materials, header cards and caps displays
• $10.00 Mail-In Rebate for beef in states where beer purchase is required
• $6.00 Mail-In Rebate for beef in states where beer purchase is not required
• Total Circulation: 200,000 rebates per promotional period
• Money-saving coupons for Herdez salsas, KC Masterpiece and Kingsford Charcoal products

Build a Better Burger Recipe Contest and Cook-Off
Sutter Home Wines (Trinchero Family Estates), Wholly Guacamole, Real California Cheese and King’s Hawaiian
As the longest-running retail promotion in its category, the Build a Better Burger® Recipe Contest and Cook-Off is also one of the most popular and successful. Now in its 22nd year, the Build a Better Burger contest solicits creative and flavorful burger recipes and selects the top 10 finalists to travel to the National Cook-Off Finals. The winner is judged on creativity, taste and visual appeal and receives $100,000 in the beef category.
Program Elements:
• Full-page FSI that drops May 13 and includes a coupon offer for one free pound of fresh beef (up to $3.00) with a purchase of a Wholly Guacamole product and King’s Hawaiian Sandwich Buns
• FSI circulation: 45 million households
• Money-saving coupons for California Cheese, Wholly Guacamole, King’s Hawaiian and Sutter Home products
• Themed mass displays in approximately 10,000 stores including base wraps and case cards.
• Bottle-neck coupon booklets including an offer for $1.00 off fresh beef with purchase of Sutter Home wine, and other product offers
• Summer satellite radio spots will run May through July 1

Kikkoman Steak Kabobs
This new partnership with Kikkoman® will promote beef and the ease and convenience of grilling kabobs during key summer promotional periods this season. This year’s program will combine Kikkoman® sauces and marinades and lean beef steak cuts.
Program Elements:
• FSI (Free Standing Insert) Date: Sunday, June 3, 2012
• FSI Circulation: 40,750 MM
• Featuring $2.00 off Beef coupon with Kikkoman purchase
• Checkoff recipes will be featured showcasing steak kabobs

August 1- September 30, 2012
Corona® Extra & Corona® Light Tailgating
We are partnering with Corona® to promote the great combination of beef and an ice cold beer during the summer. This year’s program will combine Corona® Extra and Corona® Light, giving consumers a great mail-in rebate of $10 off fresh beef with purchase, complete with in-store displays.
Program Elements:
• Mass retail displays including single case cards, dress kits, neckers, and shelf talkers in approx.12,453 locations across the country
• Rebate Coupon or Mail in Rebates– featuring $10.00 off fresh Beef
• Digital Campaign incorporating the Beef Checkoff into Facebook, web videos, etc.
• Checkoff recipes will be used showcasing beef for grilling
